About the Journal
The Recovery Journal for Christian Women and Men is a 52-week guided resource created for those walking through grief, trauma, heartbreak, or personal loss. Designed for believers at any stage of faith—whether you're struggling to pray, questioning God's presence, or seeking deeper healing—this journal offers structured, Scripture-based reflection rooted in the theological truth that God draws near to the brokenhearted.
This is not a book of platitudes or vague encouragement. It's a journey—a weekly path of prayer, insight, gratitude, and realization, designed to accompany you in both sorrow and recovery. Each week includes carefully selected Bible verses, a personal reflection, a simple prayer, and space to express your own process of healing. Each daily entry takes approximately 15–20 minutes to complete, making it manageable even—maybe, even especially—during difficult periods in your life. This creates significant intentional space each week for reflection and connection with God.
While designed primarily for individual reflection, the journal lends itself beautifully to small group study or pastoral care contexts.
The journal is split into two volumes:
- Volume 1 – Inspiration: The Inward Journey to God
- Volume 2 – Expression: The Outward Journey with God
You can begin at any time of year. There are no dates to follow, only steps to take—day by day, one week at a time.
The journal is available in paperback and hardcover editions through Amazon and other reputable booksellers worldwide. It is also supported by this companion website, which provides additional Scripture studies, curated resources, and space for community features to grow.
